By using the Site or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or our services.

1. About Our Services

Online Legal Mitra facilitates trademark, copyright, patent, company registration, GST, income tax, MCA compliance, and related filing services. In most engagements, we act as an intermediary between you and the relevant government authority (such as the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, the Trademark Registry / IP India, the GST Network, or the Income Tax Department), preparing and submitting your application through our team of associated Chartered Accountants, Company Secretaries, and legal professionals. Final approval, rejection, or processing time for any filing rests with the relevant government authority and is outside our control.

2. Responsible Use

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information for any filing or service you engage us for, and to promptly provide any additional documents we request. Providing false or misleading information may result in rejection of your application by the relevant authority, delays, or termination of our engagement, and you remain responsible for the accuracy of information you supply to us.

3. Turnaround Time

Any delivery timelines mentioned on the Site or in your service package (for example, "24-hour filing" or "3-5 working days") refer to the time we typically take to prepare and submit your application, not the time the government authority takes to examine or approve it. Government processing timelines are estimates based on typical experience and can vary due to factors outside our control, including authority workload, document queries, objections, or portal downtime.

4. Payment Terms

Fees for our services are shown on the Site or communicated to you before you engage a service, and are generally split into (a) our professional/service fee, and (b) any government or statutory fee payable to the relevant authority. Government fees are collected on your behalf and paid to the authority as part of your filing; they are determined by the government, not by us, and are subject to change by the authority at any time. Full payment (or the agreed advance) is typically required before we begin work on your application.

5. Cancellation and Refunds

Cancellation and refund requests are governed by our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms. In summary, government fees already submitted to an authority are non-refundable once filed, and our professional fee is non-refundable to the extent work has already been performed.

6. Intellectual Property

The Site's content, design, logos, and the "Online Legal Mitra" name and branding are the property of Shree Laxminarayan Trademark Company and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without our written permission. Documents and content you upload for your own filing remain your property; we use them solely to provide the service you have engaged us for.

7. Limitation of Liability

We exercise professional care in preparing and filing your application, but we do not guarantee approval by any government authority — approval, rejection, objections, and processing time are decided solely by that authority under applicable law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Online Legal Mitra is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from a government authority's decision, processing delay, or portal downtime, or from inaccurate information you provided to us. Our total liability for any claim relating to a specific service is limited to the professional fee you paid us for that service.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Site and our services are provided on an "as available" basis. While we take reasonable steps to keep information on the Site accurate and up to date, we do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any specific outcome (such as trademark approval or GST registration) is guaranteed.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate an engagement if you provide false information, fail to respond to document requests within a reasonable time, or use the Site or our services for an unlawful purpose. You may request termination of an ongoing engagement in writing, subject to the Refund Policy referenced above.

10. Consent for Communication

By providing your phone number, email, or WhatsApp details, you consent to receive service-related communication from us through call, SMS, WhatsApp, or email, including updates on your filing status and, unless you opt out, occasional information about services relevant to you.

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Site or our services after a revision constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
